Ziny's Driving School
Grades K-3

How it works:
Step 1 - Teacher reads Ziny’s Driving School.
Step 2 - Teacher introduces the skills and activities.
Step 3 - Children use their imaginations to act out the story while practicing their skills.

What is included:
A fictional story.
Three comprehensive and easy–to–implement lesson           
plans to teach spatial awareness, safe movement 
speeds, locomotor skills and primary social skills.
Rubric for locomotor skills.

What are the results: :
Intrinsically motivated children, enthusiastically engaged in aerobic activity, while learning to move safely and cooperatively in the gym.



Lesson One
Nine year old space alien Ziny learns to drive a spaceship while your K-3rd grade students learn spatial awareness, locomotor skills and safe movement in the gymnasium. 

Lesson Two
Ziny goes on a solar system field trip while your students use interval training to reinforce locomotor skills and spacial awareness.

Lesson 3
Ziny plays with Plutonians while your students learn conflict resolution skills.
